Terms of Service
Last updated: October 16, 2026
These terms are an agreement between SnappyTB, Inc. (“SnappyTB,” “we,” or “us”) and the firm or other organization that uses SnappyTB (“Customer” or “you”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent, and you confirm you have authority to do so.
1. The Service
SnappyTB provides web-based software for preparing and reviewing trial balances, adjusting entries, tax mappings, workpapers, financial statements, and consolidations (the “Service”). We may improve, change, or discontinue features over time.
2. Accounts and team members
- You must provide accurate account information and keep passwords confidential. Each person needs their own login.
- Organization owners and admins control who joins the organization and what each member can access. You are responsible for activity under your organization’s accounts.
- Tell us promptly at support@snappytb.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Your content
You keep all rights to the information you upload, including client records, trial balances, workpapers, and files (“Customer Content”). You give us permission to host, copy, process, and display Customer Content only as needed to provide and support the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the rights and client consents needed to upload Customer Content, and for complying with the professional standards and confidentiality rules that apply to your firm.
4. Professional responsibility and AI features
SnappyTB is a tool. It does not provide accounting, tax, audit, or legal advice, and it does not replace professional judgment. Some features use artificial intelligence to suggest mappings, clean up imports, or explain differences, and those suggestions can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing all output and for the accuracy of any financial statement, tax return, or filing you prepare.
5. Purchases and fees
- SnappyTB is sold per binder with one-time payments, not subscriptions. Current prices are shown in the Service before you pay. As of the date above, a binder with its first trial balance is $25, each additional trial balance slot in a binder is $5, and consolidation for a binder is $25.
- Each eligible organization receives one free base binder with its first trial balance. Additional trial balances and consolidation in that binder are paid. Deleting the free binder or adding users does not restore the allowance.
- Purchased access belongs to the specific binder it was bought for and does not transfer to other binders. Rolling a binder forward to a new period creates a new binder, which is a new purchase.
- Prices do not include sales tax. Applicable taxes are calculated and shown at checkout and added to your total.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Only organization owners and admins can make purchases. We may change prices for future purchases, but changes do not affect access you have already paid for.
- If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will review it. Except where required by law, completed purchases are otherwise non-refundable.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful or fraudulent;
- upload content you do not have the right to share, or malicious code;
- try to access another organization’s data, bypass access controls or payment requirements, or probe or test the Service’s security without our written permission;
- interfere with or overload the Service, or scrape it with automated tools;
- copy, resell, or reverse engineer the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, storage, AI features, document conversion, email, and payments, as listed in our Privacy Policy. Their services are subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for outages or errors caused by them.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time, and an organization owner may delete the organization. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if your use creates a security or legal risk, or if required by law. Where practical, we will give notice first so you can export your reports and data. Sections 3, 4, and 9 through 12 survive termination.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its output will be accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SnappyTB will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify SnappyTB against third-party claims arising from your Customer Content, your use of the Service in breach of these terms, or your violation of law or professional obligations.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Tarrant County, Texas, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify organization owners by email or in the Service before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
